Rotten

All that glitters is not gold.

All that glitters is not gold.

All that glitters is not gold.

All that glitters is not gold.

The golden apple is an apple of discord. During the gold rush, two people would cut each other's throats for a piece of gold that size.
The sculpture illustrates the proverb "All that glitters is not gold." The apple is real. It rots and decomposes.
I covered the fruit with gold paint because people attach too much importance to money. If you cut an apple in half, it is rotten inside.
The decomposing apple shows that the pursuit of wealth and power is a rotten path, replacing a natural, divine gift with false glitter and tinsel.
Just as the sculpture is an illusion of an apple, an illusion of gold, in the same way a person is under an illusion regarding true values.
Real wealth is life, love and relationships.
