Nothing lasts forever
Canvas, acrylic, 2025
Nothing lasts forever.
Mandalas, patterns of repeating symbols, had sacred meanings. They were created on walls, clothes, on the body and on the ground, in the open air. It was a reminder of the finiteness of our existence.
Everything we create, including ourselves, will disappear.
Nothing lasts forever.
This is an incentive to stop procrastinating and start acting.
"You have to run as fast as you can just to stay in place, and to get somewhere, you have to run at least twice as fast!" ("Alice Through the Looking Glass")
We don't know how much time is left. From the moment we are born, the clock is counting down, so you need to live now. 100%.
Think about what you would like to do and what you have been putting off for so long out of fear. And act!
Hurry to live.
